Dr. Brian Kunakom is a Naturopathic Doctor at Esperance Integrative Oncology Clinic at Bumrungrad International Hospital in Bangkok, Thailand.
He completed his undergraduate training at UC Santa Barbara and earned his Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington.
Dr. Kunakom is an experienced physician in integrative oncology and brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and interdisciplinary collaboration to the table. These drove his advancements in cancer care, particulalry in cancer nutrition.
Throughout his career, he has been at the forefront of bridging the gap between conventional medicine and innovative approaches to patient care. In addition, he recognized the limitations of standardized treatment guidelines and explored alternative options for personalized and comprehensive cancer management. Committing to the highest level of care led him to integrative medicine, where he gained deep knowledge in natural, holistic, and complementary alternative medical practices.
Meanwhile he explored different components of cancer lifestyle medicine and acquired the Cancer Exercise Specialist certification from CETI – gold standard for cancer exercise.
