DR. REX GLORIA

Dr. Rex Gloria is a Biologist and preventive health professional who will share his vast knowledge of Principles of Biohacking and Liquid Biopsy.

Dr. Christopher Rex Gloria earned a degree in Biology with major focus on Microbiology from the University of the Philippines in Los Banos. After this academic accomplishment he took up medical education at the Dela Salle University Health Sciences Campus. 

While he completed four years of surgical residency training at the Angeles University Foundation Medical Center he stumbled upon a seminar on Bio-Identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) given by the world-renowned Belgian doctor Thierry Herthoghe. 

This experience ignited his calling in preventive medicine and led him to take several courses in Functional Endocrinology with the International Hormone Society. As a result, he dismissed his vision of becoming a surgeon.

Dr. Rex, as he is fondly called by his peers and patients, finished his master’s degree in Preventive Medicine with Honors at the Dresden International University in Germany. His thesis dealt with the in-vitro study on the “effect of hormones and specific vitamins on a special type of stem cell population isolated from the skin”. His major results revealed that progesterone and vitamin D3 increases the population of stem cells whilst Vitamin A transforms them into neurons.

Further, Dr. Rex pursued additional education focusing on gut and brain health at the Institute for Functional Medicine. Upon completion he earned the certification for the Bredensen Protocol for reversing cognitive decline. 

A gap in Dr. Rex’s two decades of flourishing medical career happened in 2019 just a few months before the pandemic. He decided to take a sabbatical from work, a time when he learned about meditation and its real benefits on physical and mental health.

Currently, his field of interests are in Precision Diagnostics in Biohacking, Bio-Identical hormone replacement therapy for menopause, Gut-Brain Axis & Mental Health, Exosomes and stem cells, and Liquid Biopsy for early cancer detection.
