Dr. Jutarop Phetcharaburanin is a prominent Thai researcher and inventor who has made significant contributions to the fields of science and technology.
He was born in 1984 in Thailand and completed his undergraduate studies in Electrical Engineering from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand.
He then pursued his doctoral studies in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology, USA.
During his PhD, he developed a novel technology called “Smart Probe” which enables the measurement of the electrical activity of single cells, paving the way for new advancements in the field of neuroscience.
After completing his Ph.D., he returned to Thailand and joined the National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC) as a researcher.
He has since been actively involved in research and development activities at NECTEC, focusing on the development of cutting-edge technologies in various fields, including biomedical engineering, robotics, and nanotechnology.
Dr. Jutarop has received numerous awards and recognitions for his contributions to science and technology.
In 2019, he was awarded the prestigious Outstanding Young Scientist Award by the Foundation for the Promotion of Science and Technology under the Patronage of His Majesty the King.
He has also been named one of the Forbes 30 under 30 in Asia in the field of healthcare.
