Kent Holtorf, M.D. is the medical director of the Holtorf Medical Group (HoltorfMed.com) (opened twenty-two corporate centers and nine franchises) and the founder and medical director of the non-profit National Academy of Hypothyroidism (NAHypothyroidism.org).
He is also the founder of Integrative Peptides (IntegrativePeptides.com), bringing doctors and patients the highest quality bioidentical peptides as supplements with unique delivery systems.
He is also dedicated to training physicians about ground-breaking peptide therapies.
Dr. Holtorf has recently started a pharmaceutical company, KJ Biopharm (KJBioPharm.com), and proceeding with IND clinical trials on unique peptide and biologic therapies for complex immune-related conditions and is launching a comprehensive year-long peptide training course through My Better Medicine (mybettermedicine.com) in February 2023.
Dr. Holtorf started a program to treat injured veterans, many with traumatic brain injury, PTSD, toxic exposures, and other difficult-to-diagnosis and treat multi-system illnesses.
After seeing numerous doctors and specialists for years without improvement, a particularly sick special forces veteran who was in a coma for an extended period of time then saw a dramatically rapid improvement with unique, innovative therapies.
The story got out and resulted in a director and a producer wanting to do a documentary highlighting the unknown availability of effective care for these sick veterans that mainstream medicine is unfamiliar.
The documentary includes a production-finance-distribution agreement with a twelve-part series that will air on Amazon, Hulu, and other major outlets.
Dr. Holtorf is an internationally known lecturer, author, and innovator in cutting-edge research and treatments.
He has lectured at almost 100 CME-approved medical society conferences and has been a featured guest on almost every national network news program.
He is on the Steering Committee for the International Peptide Society and was the Endocrinology Expert for AOL Health; he has published multiple peer-reviewed endocrine review articles on complex, multi-system, poorly understood conditions, which demonstrates that much of the long-held dogma in endocrinology and infectious disease is inaccurate.
He is also a guest editor and peer-reviewer for multiple medical journals, including Endocrine.
He has been a featured guest on numerous major news outlets and print media, including CNBC, ABC News, CNN, Fox News, Good Morning America, The Today Show, Discovery Health, The Doctors, The Learning Channel, the Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, US News and World Report, San Francisco Chronicle, WebMD, and Forbes, among many others.
